1. Who We Are And How This Notice Applies
This Privacy Notice explains how Chefs' Hub collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and otherwise processes personal information when people use the Chefs' Hub website, platform, web application, related mobile or browser experiences, integrations, support channels, exports, reports, communications, and operational services.
Chefs' Hub is primarily a business-to-business hospitality operations platform for restaurants, food businesses, groups, venues, and their teams. The restaurant, employer, company, or other tenant that gives a user access to Chefs' Hub will usually decide why workforce and operational data is processed. In those cases, that tenant is normally the controller or business, and Chefs' Hub acts as a processor or service provider.
Chefs' Hub may act as an independent controller for limited platform administration data, account authentication, billing, fraud prevention, security, product diagnostics, service analytics, legal compliance, customer support, and communications about the platform.
If you use Chefs' Hub through an employer, restaurant, or customer organization, contact that organization first for requests about workforce records, attendance, payroll references, rota, HR documents, or operational records that it controls.

Chefs' Hub uses Google data only to provide or improve the user-facing features you or your organization enable, such as authentication, importing recipe or inventory spreadsheets, exporting operational files, attaching documents, or syncing approved business records.
Chefs' Hub does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
Chefs' Hub use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Chefs' Hub does not use Google Workspace user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models. Google data is used only for the connected feature, troubleshooting, security, compliance, or other uses permitted by Google policy and applicable law.
You can revoke Chefs' Hub access to Google data through your Google Account permissions, through connected integration settings where available, or by asking your organization administrator or Chefs' Hub support for assistance.

6. AI-Assisted Features And Automated Processing
Chefs' Hub includes AI-assisted features that may help with recipe structuring, transcription, document extraction, operational analysis, suggestions, summaries, training content, review notes, attendance insights, inventory analysis, or other hospitality workflows.
AI output may be generated from user-entered content, uploaded documents, operational records, or connected integration data where the relevant feature is enabled. Users and tenants remain responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it in business, HR, safety, legal, financial, or compliance decisions.
Chefs' Hub does not design AI-assisted features to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about employees, contractors, candidates, customers, suppliers, or users. Customers must keep human review in place for hiring, firing, discipline, payroll, safety, regulatory, food safety, finance, tax, or legal decisions.
7. Legal Bases And Customer Instructions
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, Chefs' Hub and the relevant tenant may process information based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligations, vital interests, employment administration, or another lawful basis identified by the tenant or applicable law.
For tenant-controlled workforce and operational data, Chefs' Hub processes data according to customer instructions, product configuration, applicable agreements, and the tenant administrator actions taken inside the platform.
Tenants are responsible for providing any required employee, contractor, candidate, supplier, or customer notices and obtaining any required consents before using features such as geofence attendance, document upload, workforce analytics, messaging, integrations, or AI-assisted processing.
9. Security, Retention, And Customer Controls
Chefs' Hub uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, tenant scoping, authentication, encryption in transit, service logging, backup practices, least-privilege access, vendor review, incident response processes, and operational security review.
Chefs' Hub keeps information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with customer instructions, satisfy legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, support audits, and enforce agreements.
Customers and users should avoid uploading unnecessary personal, medical, identity, payroll, immigration, disciplinary, or other sensitive records unless the relevant module and business need require it.
No internet service is completely secure. Users and tenants must protect login credentials, configure roles carefully, keep devices secure, remove former staff promptly, review connected integrations, and report suspected unauthorized access quickly.
10. Your Choices And Rights
- You may request access, correction, deletion, export, portability, restriction, or objection where applicable law gives you those rights.
- You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, subject to legal, contractual, security, employment, or operational consequences explained by the relevant customer or required by law.
- Employees, contractors, and other workforce users should usually contact their employer, restaurant administrator, HR contact, or tenant administrator first because that organization normally controls workforce data.
- Users may update some profile information directly in the app, revoke connected integrations, change notification settings, request account deletion, or ask an administrator to update records they cannot edit.
- Chefs' Hub may need to verify identity, authority, tenant relationship, and legal eligibility before completing a privacy request.
11. Regional Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live or work, privacy laws may give you additional rights, including rights to know what categories of personal information are collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared; to access specific information; to correct inaccurate information; to delete certain information; to receive a portable copy; to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; to limit certain sensitive personal information uses; to object or restrict processing; and to appeal a denied request.
Chefs' Hub does not knowingly sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If Chefs' Hub later offers a feature that is considered a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling under applicable law, Chefs' Hub will provide the notices and choices required by that law.
Chefs' Hub will not discriminate against a person for exercising privacy rights where that protection applies. However, some requests may affect whether the service, an integration, or a workplace workflow can continue to function.
12. International Transfers, Children, And Contact
Chefs' Hub, customers, vendors, and subprocessors may process information in countries other than the country where the user or restaurant is located. Where required, Chefs' Hub relies on appropriate safeguards such as contracts, data processing terms, standard contractual clauses, customer instructions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Chefs' Hub is designed for business and workplace use. It is not directed to children. Users must not invite children to use the platform unless the tenant has confirmed that the use is lawful, properly authorized, and covered by required notices and consents.
For privacy requests related to a restaurant, employer, or company tenant, contact that organization administrator or HR/privacy contact first. For Chefs' Hub platform privacy questions, security concerns, Google API data questions, data processing agreement requests, account deletion support, or legal notices, contact Chefs' Hub at team@chefshub.cloud or through the support channel made available inside the app.
